1958 became a one-year only for Chevrolet's full size automobile with four trim levels to choose from: Delray, Biscayne, Belair, and Impala (1st year for Impala). Today, these comfortable, easy driving cars are well sought after, and highly appreciated in the classic car community, whether in factory stock form, Low-rider form, of hot rod style like this Biscayne.
This particular car was treated to a full restoration, that would fall under the category of “Restified”, meaning restored-modified, although most of the modifications are somewhat subtle and for the purpose of convenience and Coolness!
For example, pop the hood to reveal the 348 that looks for the most part stock, but never fails to garner smiles from onlookers. Make no mistake, turn the key and hear the big V8 roar to life and run smooth, is just a precursor to the ease in which this classic engine moves the Biscayne down the road in the same smooth manner.
Vintage A/C and heat, power front disc brakes, stereo, and completely new interior are just a few of the modern upgrades that make this Chevy a pleasure to drive.
All of the trim an bright work looks excellent including the flawless front grill. The under carriage is clean, and void of any rust, including the clean trunk compartment.
The two-tone paint is unique not only in it's Intense Blue Pearl Coat and Silver combination, but there are subtle ghost flames in the silver up front on the hood and fenders. A small silver flame breaks up the color lines on the rear fenders giving a nod to the “Hot Rod” styling.
Nice deep tone dual exhaust and Chevy Rally's all around with new white letter radials round out the package.
Overall a nice clean, restored 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne that's as fun to drive as it is to look at! Ready to enjoy!
